Release and Waiver of Liability

I understand that entering or exiting More Than Pickleball (“MTP”) property and participating in any MTP activity—onsite, offsite, or digitally—involves risks. These risks include, but are not limited to, falls, collisions, overexertion, equipment malfunction, facility conditions, interactions with staff or participants, aggravation of existing conditions, illness, infection, pregnancy-related complications, serious injury, emotional harm, property loss, and death.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my presence at MTP and participation in its activities. I am responsible for determining whether I am physically capable of participating and for informing MTP staff in writing of any relevant medical condition before participating.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and agree not to hold More Than Pickleball, its owners, affiliates, employees, coaches, contractors, and agents (“Released Parties”) liable for claims, injuries, death, property damage, or losses arising from my presence at MTP or participation in its activities, including claims involving ordinary negligence.

I understand that MTP is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. Information provided by MTP staff is not medical, dietary, physical-therapy, or rehabilitative advice. I am responsible for my own health and safety.

I agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties from claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from my participation or from a claim brought by me, the minor participant, or anyone acting on our behalf.

If signing for a minor, I certify that I am the minor’s parent or legal guardian, authorize the minor’s participation, accept these terms on the minor’s behalf, and agree to indemnify the Released Parties against claims brought by or on behalf of the minor.

I consent to photographs and videos depicting me or the minor participant being used by MTP for marketing and promotional purposes.

This agreement is governed by Georgia law. Any related legal action must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Gwinnett County, Georgia. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
